Yeti Tool is pleased to announce the launch of Shapes on July 29th, a console-based CAD/CAM application that's free for all SmartBench CNC routers.
Shapes means that customers can cut shapes on their CNC router without using a computer. This makes our amazing SmartBench even better and has been designed specifically to reduce the CAD/CAM learning curve and to unlock their CNC to perform like a power tool.
Shapes take care of some complexities such as G Code, feeds and speeds, and will be populated regularly with fantastic updates.
Shapes will assist CNC workflow by allowing customers to choose shapes, dimensions, rotation, material type and thickness, cutter type, cutter diameter, and position of the Z Head. It is then simply a matter of pressing Go.
Shapes can currently process Square, Circle, Slot, Rectangular and Straight Line geometries. Shapes also support pocketing toolpaths for all of the above.
Customers using the console-based CNC Shapes can link with YetiPilot cutters, as all data will be based on our in-house cutters.
This means we control the cutting strategy from start to finish, making SmartBench the go-to for all CNC requirements. It works on both Consoles and all SmartBench machines.
