A parallelogram is where opposite sides are of equal lengths, but the diagonals are different.

If your SmartBench shows this symptom then you will need to:
manually square the X Beam during homing. Click here to find out how to do that.
If the symptom persists, then you will also need to adjust your skids at the end of the Lower X beam, to make the Upper X Beam square to the Y Bench. Click here to learn more about this.
A trapezium is where some of opposite edges are not of equal length, and the diagonals are also unequal.
