YetiPilot will pause the job if the feed rate persists at 10% for longer than 4 seconds. This is because very low feed can be an indicator that something is wrong.
Check:
Is the spindle ok? (check the items listed in ‘Spindle Health Check’)
Has the right YetiPilot profile been selected? (parameters must match exactly)
Is the cutter sharp?
Has the stock shifted?
Check your spindle data connection is secure
The cutter may be cutting too deep, check:
Did the job file have sensible step down depths? (see ‘Job file preparation’ for guidance on how deep each step down should be)
Was Z datum was set correctly i.e. is it cutting at the correct depth?
Was the initial feed rate set too high in the job file? (see ‘Job file preparation’)
Has the spindle speed been manually overridden to be too low?
If none of the above items fix the issue, it may be that our presets for cutter and material are inappropriate for your exact setup.
Please use the Advanced Profile options to increase the target power until the nominal feed rate matches expectations.
