This article goes through how to visually check the USB-B port on the Z-Head itself to ensure it is not damaged

This guide is for Z-Heads with a serial number of ZH0803 or higher only

Step 1) Remove the top plate with the four bolts on the top

Step 2) Visually check the USB-B port on the Z-Head

Check all four gold pins on the port, check they are in good condition and not out of shape

They should all look like the below photo
